"This letter is for you to show anyone who is interested in using the services of Affordable Quality Care. I chose this company to care for my mother for just 4 hours each day when she had the beginning signs of dementia. Her dementia has worsened since then and we have increased her care to 24 hours. I didn't anticipate my mom's elder years requiring 24 hour care, but once myself and my family realized she wasn't able to take care of her basic needs on her own, I called the number on the brochure that they mailed. Now all I have to do is just spend time with my mom. At first we thought we would just need someone to prepare meals for her, help her take her medication on schedule, and do some light housekeeping. Once their crew came in, they began helping in so many other ways; grocery shopping, calling in and picking up prescriptions, and helping my mom with her baths. If they didn't take care of these necessities, it would require that myself or my one brother did. It is a relief to me to know that she is well taken care of and I'm not required to do it all. My brothers and I all have full time jobs and families; and all but one of us live an hour away, so any additional help with my mom was welcome to all of us. Aside from caring for my mom, they have been a friend to her. Occasionally, they will even take her to their homes to visit with their families and pets.
